Nitrogenous Industrial fertilizers (N)

Nitrogenous industrial fertilizers contain the basic nutrient element nitrogen (N). Nitrogen is very important for the growth of all green plants, it is a kind of basic building block that forms the most important part of their living matter. It can be present in different forms depending on the raw materials used and the resulting chemical composition, i.e. especially nitrate (NO^3-), ammonia (NH⁴⁺) or urea (amide NH₂), which in turn has an effect especially on its release and accessibility for plants.

Modern nitrogen fertilizers contain nitrification inhibitors, or urease inhibitors, which results in the prevention of nitrogen loss and its gradual release.
